Among the mechanisms of adaptation of an organization, the important role belongs to the innovation process, which provides adaptive changes, including target changes. Adaptation of the organization is the main mechanism of strategic management of the organization, providing the formation of new opportunities and the reduction of threats associated with the projected changes in the external environment of the organization.
System adaptation – The process of system adaptation to changes in the external environment. The mechanism of system adaptation is the presence of feedback in the system, the transfer function “external environment – control parameters of the system”.
